We're looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Transportation team based in Gerrards Cross. In this role you'll be instrumental in delivering financial insights, conducting strategic analysis, and providing support to enable informed decision-making for the project.

Location: Gerrards Cross, South Buckinghamshire - remote working available, with travel to the office required 3 out of 5 days per week

Contract: Permanent Fulltime with some flexibility on hours

Salary: £34,000 - £38,000 per annum + benefits

What will you be responsible for?

As Assistant Management Accountant, you will work collaboratively with the Commercial Team on a Framework contract for HS2 Utility diversions.

Your day to day will include:

Oversee input of cost into Project Accounting System, ensuring costs are aligned to the project work breakdown structure for activity and resource codes
Manage reconciliations
Support with client audits
Assist with updating self-delivery budgets and producing reports on reconciliations, actuals, etc

What are we looking for?

This role of Assistant Management Accountant is great if you have:

Hold or working towards a recognised accountancy qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA)
Proven experience in a similar role within the construction or infrastructure sector
Analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
