Requirements
- Degree in Labor Relations and Human Resources, Law, Degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE) or similar.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing payroll and Social Security in Spain.
- Knowledge of labor/social regulations and HR policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of SAP payroll and personnel administration modules.
- Knowledge of Workday as a central personnel management system integrated with the payroll system.
- A high level of fluency in English will be highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Organize, plan, and supervise the payroll of a group of 600 employees distributed across more than 8 companies.
- Collaborate with HR from different business units, payroll managers on projects, and various company departments.
- Provide advice and resolve payroll, personnel cost, labor legislation, collective agreement, subrogation’s, transfers, payroll variations, etc.
- Load and review master data, as well as maintain system tables.
- Manage Social Security affiliation batches (AFI) and social insurance (SILTRA).
- Apply tax regulations for expatriates and their income adjustments.
- Manage the pension plan, control its application in payroll, and send files to the insurance company.
- Global process of calculating IRPF, payroll, settlements, and Labor Cost (preliminary reviews and incident resolution).
- Payroll accounting, coordination with financial departments.
- Reconcile and review models 111, 190, and 296 and their reflection in earnings certificates.
- Prepare reports and reporting.
- Weekly meetings with the HR Systems department to review the operation of the SAP payroll system (detection and analysis of incidents, improvements, legal changes, review of integrations, etc.), open tickets, and follow up until closure.
- Participate in HR and IT projects. Identify areas for improvement and possible automatable processes.
