Job Description:
Summary:
Plans, coordinates and supervises Ferrovial Finance processes, in its financial, management and procedural variables in accordance with Ferrovial policy and guidelines and those of the Finance Area. Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure fiscal stability and compliance with regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and analysis of monthly and annual closings of the various companies and their departments, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
- Preparation, review, and monitoring of analytical accounting.
- Tracking of both internal and external billing for all companies.
- Analysis and control of the company’s service contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
- Monitoring and control of treasury and financing positions between Cintra and Ferrovial companies, including cash flow planning and liquidity optimization to ensure the company’s solvency.
- Tax analysis of the affiliated companies, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and optimizing the tax burden, in collaboration with Ferrovial’s tax department.
- Collaboration in the annual accounts and audit processes of all companies, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Management of the company’s financial and economic projects and operations.
- Acting as a liaison between affiliated companies and any Ferrovial department requiring information from Cintra, facilitating communication and collaboration.
- Periodic preparation of management and financial reports for the executive bodies of Cintra and Ferrovial, providing key information for strategic decision-making.
- Budget preparation and monitoring for the various companies within the Group.
- Active participation in various financial information digitalization initiatives.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

Education & Experience:
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a financial qualification.
- 7-10+ years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, Business Control, Business Process Analysis or Auditing.
- High level of English (minimum C1 level).
- Proficiency in Office (Excel essential, Power BI recommended).
- Knowledge of SAP (preferably) or a similar accounting system.
- High proactivity and ability to work with tight deadlines, with innovation and improvement capacity, high predisposition, initiative, and flexibility.
- Immediate availability.
- Languages required: Proficient in both Spanish and English.
