Job Description:
The selected candidate will join the Treasury Department, specifically in the Transactional Treasury area, within the Economic-Financial General Directorate in Madrid, part of the Corporate Area. The corporate headquarters provide support and guidance to the group’s businesses and various companies on a global scale.
Objective
The Transactional Treasury / Liquidity Management role will support the optimization of global cash profitability, ensuring proper closing, recording, documentation, and monitoring of temporary financial investments, as well as identifying and implementing improvements in the profitability of cash surpluses.
Responsibilities
- Lead follow-up meetings with countries and business units to gain first-hand insights into local aspects that contribute to improving cash profitability and implementing corrective measures.
- Monitor and analyze operational cash flows for more efficient cash management.
- Identify and monitor non-remunerated cash.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date information in the treasury system managing cash surpluses and propose improvements in reporting.
- Support the monitoring, closing/coordination of execution, recording, settlement, reconciliation, and documentation of temporary financial investments.
- Ensure compliance with internal treasury policies and procedures.
- Prepare reports related to Ferrovial Group’s liquidity management.
- Liaise with financial institutions and resolve incidents.
- Support other departments during audits, M&A operations, and financial management information requests.
Requirements
- Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles. Previous experience in financial institutions or corporate areas of large multinational companies in liquidity management roles is desirable.
- High level of English (C1).
- Knowledge of SAP and FIS Integrity is highly valued.
